Welcome

A Cheerful Heretic
The word, heretic, is occasionally used by religious leaders to disparage members of their own religion who do not ascribe to all taught by that religion.

Ironically, those religious leaders are typically anxious to find common ground with entire religions with beliefs very different from their own.

A paradox hopefully Christianity will someday resolve, if it intends to continue bringing people to the God revealed by the life and words of Jesus in the 21st Century.

After many years of calling myself Christian, and being troubled by some biblical content, I decided to set the troubling part aside, focus on what remains, and approach life’s end as
A Cheerful Heretic.
